If you are going to be a blogger, it is mandatory that you know how to promote. You can have the most helpful, interesting articles, but if you do not promote them properly, you won't get very far! Here are my best tips on how to promote your blog and get more views today!
Create a facebook fan page. Invite people to like it. People may not go to your blog everyday, but they will check their facebook accounts everyday! Post statuses that include links to your articles daily. You can also find a status that is going viral and post an ad in the comments. Here is an example of something I posted on Mariah Carey's status!
Hi Mariah! I'm a huge fan! Heres an article about you, I thought you might like it.

When posting statuses about your articles, try not to mention that you are the writer. Just make it seem like it is an article on the Internet that you found and love.
Tweet 3-6 times a day, including links to your articles. Here is an example of one on my tweets.

First, what you do is find an article you want to promote. Then you think of someone who may be interested. My article is about Katy Perry, so I chose KatyCats, her fan club. Then you put @KatyCats. After that include a short sentence describing the blog. Then put in the link. Do not include a link with no sentence. Most people will not click on a link for no reason. So give them a good one. after that, include two relevant hash tags. Too many hash tags will distract from the real message of the tweet!
Google+
Blogger.com is the platform I use. It's connected to google, so once you sign up, you already have a google plus account. You can use google plus to post statuses, advertising your blog and connect with other members of the google plus community.
Linked In
Linked In has a blogging section, so you can cut and paste your articles and use them on there and include links to your personal blog. But keep in mind, LinkedIn is for professionals, so you may have to pick and choose which articles make the cut.
Fiverr
Fiverr is an awesome way to connect with freelance promoters without ever leaving your home! There are many promoters who will get you thousands of views for only $5! Here is the link

Pay attention to how you react to other people's posts.
Do you remember the last time you saw an ad for a blog and clicked on it? What made you want to click? Remember that when posting your ads.
